Today, I’m finally letting go of my D-Link DIR-625 Wireless N Router. You have been a pain in my butt for far too long and I have finally given up on you. To be fair, you really haven’t been any worse than the blue Linksys wireless B/G router that I used to have, but that’s not saying much. For some reason my routers seem to lose internet connection at least on a daily basis. I have become far too accustomed to unplugging it, waiting a few seconds to plug it back in and then waiting and hoping for my internet connection to come back up. I have unplugged & replugged (is that a word?) far too many ethernet cables in my day. I have also tolerated your weak signal that caused me problems whether I was in the same room as the router or somewhere else in the house.

So today, I finally said goodbye to you, Mr. D-Link DIR-625 Router. I plan to go all “Office-Space-fax-machine” on your sorry carcass.
Let’s just hope the new router actually works correctly. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Same router same problem about 3/4 times a day.
Hi Kevin,
After replacing my D-Link router, all the issues i had with my computer have been fixed. I never have to reboot my router or modem and I always stay online. I’m so glad I replaced it. Here’s a link to the Medialink router that I got on Amazon.com…
